Morocco has very different climates within the same itinerary: a hot medina, cold mountains and a desert with a big gap between day and night. The golden rule is to dress in layers.
Clothing
Light, pale clothes for the day, a jacket or fleece for nights in the desert and the Atlas, and clothes that cover shoulders and knees for visits to religious sites.
Documents and money
A passport valid for at least 6 months. Citizens of the UK, the US, Canada, Australia and most EU countries do not need a visa for tourist stays of up to 90 days. Bring euros or pounds to exchange and an international card.
Dica: Keep a digital copy of your passport and travel insurance on your phone.
Desert essentials
Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat or scarf, a small torch, a power bank and a change of long-sleeved clothing.
