3-Day Tour from Marrakech to Fes

Departure from Marrakech after breakfast, crossing the impressive High Atlas mountains on the Tizi n’Tichka road. Photo stops at the most spectacular viewpoints. Visit to the famous Ksar of Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and the setting for films such as “Gladiator” and “Lawrence of Arabia”. Lunch at a local restaurant overlooking the kasbah. We continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco”, with a stop at the film studios. On to the Dades Valley along the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs. Dinner and overnight at a hotel in the valley.

Breakfast at the hotel overlooking the Dades gorge. Departure for the Todra Gorge, a spectacular canyon with vertical walls reaching 300 metres high. Free time to walk beside the river and admire this natural wonder. Lunch at a local restaurant before heading on to Erfoud, the gateway to the Sahara. Arrival in Merzouga in the late afternoon. Camel ride across the dunes of Erg Chebbi to enjoy the sunset in the desert. Dinner and overnight at a Berber camp under the stars.

Sunrise in the desert (optional). After breakfast at the camp, departure for Fes through the Ziz Valley, with its vast palm groves and impressive landscapes. Stop in Midelt for lunch, in the heart of the Atlas mountains. We continue through the cedar forest of Azrou, with the chance to see Barbary macaques. Passing through Ifrane, the “Moroccan Switzerland”, with its unique architecture. Arrival in Fes in the late afternoon. End of our 3 Days from Marrakech services.
