Travel to Morocco for Easter!

Are you looking for a place to spend Easter 2023? Come to Morocco!

Easter 2023 will be on April 9th, but since the 7th is a national holiday, this weekend will be a long weekend. And when we hear “long weekend,” we automatically think about traveling…

EASTER IN MOROCCO

Easter is a Christian tradition that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. As Morocco is a Muslim country, it is worth noting that you will not see Easter celebrations here.

WHY TRAVEL TO MOROCCO FOR EASTER?

Because, as we mentioned earlier, you can take advantage of the days off work to take an unforgettable trip!

It is a fact that you will not see decorations with bunnies, chocolates, or the like. But you can enrich your experience by visiting incredible places.

Want to see some examples?

CASABLANCA

Casablanca is the largest city in Morocco, famous for the movie of the same name. It is a modern and busy city. It is considered the commercial and financial center of the country.

It is home to the largest port in North Africa, and its architecture was inspired by the French city of Marseille.

The main attraction in Casablanca is the Hassan II Mosque.

RABAT

Rabat is the capital of Morocco, known as a cultural hub due to its museums, libraries, and theaters.

This is where the official residence of King Mohammed VI is located, as well as the country’s political center and embassies.

The area near the king’s palace is not open for visits, but there are countless other tourist and historical spots to explore, such as the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Hassan Tower and its 200 columns, etc.

MARRAKECH

Marrakech is known as the Red City and is the main tourist destination in Morocco. The Jemaa el-Fna square is one of the city’s postcards.

The city has beautiful gardens, mosques, and palaces.

FEZ

Fez is the cultural capital of Morocco, as it is one of the imperial cities. This is where the world’s first university is located, the University of Al-Qarawiyyin, founded in 859.

It is an intense and vibrant city, with many merchants, handicrafts, traditional food, and spices. A must-see tour is visiting the tanneries, a typical Moroccan activity and part of a centuries-old tradition.

CHEFCHAOUEN

Chefchaouen is known for its blue-painted buildings, a Jewish legacy.

It is an opportunity to experience Morocco in a more intimate way, without the tourist appeal of large cities.
