Arrival at Mohammed V airport in Casablanca. Welcome by our representative and transfer to the hotel. Short visit of the exterior of the Hassan II Mosque, one of the largest Islamic temples in the world. Dinner and overnight in Casablanca.
Departure after breakfast towards Rabat, the administrative capital of Morocco. Visit the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Kasbah of the Oudaias. Lunch at a local restaurant. Continue the journey towards the enchanting blue city of Chefchaouen, located in the Rif Mountains. Dinner and overnight in Chefchaouen.
A full day to explore Chefchaouen. Visit of Uta el-Hammam square, the Kasbah and the Ras El Maa waterfalls. Free time to wander the distinctive blue lanes and photograph the unique scenery. Lunch at a traditional restaurant. Dinner and overnight in Chefchaouen.
Departure for Volubilis to explore the Roman ruins (a UNESCO heritage site). We continue to Meknes to visit its imperial monuments, including the Bab Mansour gate. Lunch at a local restaurant. Arrival in Fez at the end of the day. Dinner and overnight in Fez.
A full day devoted to discovering Fez. Guided visit of the Medina (a UNESCO World Heritage site), including the Bou Inania and Attarine medersas, the traditional tanneries and the potters' quarter. Lunch at a typical restaurant in the Medina. Free afternoon to explore the souks. Dinner and overnight in Fez.
Early departure towards the desert. Passing through Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco”, and the cedar forest of Azrou. Lunch in Midelt. We continue through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud. Arrival in Merzouga at sunset. Dinner and overnight at a hotel at the gates of the desert.
Morning devoted to exploring the Merzouga region. Visit to a nomad family and to the lakes of the old mining pits. In the late afternoon, camel ride to the camp in the heart of Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset. Dinner and overnight under the stars in the desert.
Sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at the camp, departure for Tinjdad and on to the spectacular Todra Gorge. Lunch on site. Afternoon in the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in the valley.
After breakfast we head to Ouarzazate (the Hollywood of Africa) before crossing the Valley of the Roses and the Skoura palm grove, then reaching the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, visiting the Cinema Museum, having lunch and then visiting the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO heritage site. We then drive up into the High Atlas mountains. Photo stop at TIZI N’Tichka. After that we continue on to Marrakech.
A full day of guided sightseeing in Marrakech: the Menara Gardens, the Bahia Palace, the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque (from outside) and the vibrant Jemaa el-Fna square. Lunch at a traditional restaurant. Afternoon visit to the souks. Dinner and overnight in Marrakech.
A free day to explore the Red City at your own pace. You can choose to visit the beautiful gardens and the majestic Saadian Tombs, dive into the vibrant energy of the famous Jemaa el-Fna square — a UNESCO intangible cultural heritage — and explore the colourful souks around it. Dinner and overnight in Marrakech.
